PGR Vancouver

The City of Vancouver aims to be the greenest city in North America by 2020. The recently launched Greenest City 2020 initiative encompasses several efforts to make the city a cleaner, healthier and energy independent place to live. As part of this initiative, Vancouver joined Project Get Ready to drive forward a strategy to make electric vehicles a viable option for transportation. This strategy includes 2-year, 5-year, and 10-year goals to procure electric vehicles and deploy charging infrastructure. The city is working with academic partners as well as the local utility to identify key charge points for level 2 and DC fast charging EVSE.
